Anyone know if there is any way to change ip address and hostname in W2k, than from GUI (Network and dial up connections). From Command prompt, or vbs or ..?
Thanks

Reply:

try

ipconfig /release
that releases all ip assignments and leases

ipconfig /renew
to renew and obtain new leases

you can try other options by
iconfig /?

good luck
