helo... is it possible to create/enable a user account logon dat works the same way as the guest group after some modifications?
i kno dat Guest logon will not save any changes made to the desktop.. everything will revert back to default wen you logon again using Guest. i wld like to place several shortcuts, tweak mouse speed, set wallpaper, THEN make it as the default. so everytime pple login using this account, i can hav peace of mind knowing watever they change, wallpaper, screensaver etc, will be reverted to default.
my pc is not on ana domain, it's a ome pc. belongs in a WORKGROUP though.
any tips welcomed.
thanks,

You could do that. Just create a test user, configure it the way you want, and then copy it to the default profile. I'm not sure though if the default profile "resets" itself on logoff. If it does, you'd have to write a script that run an XCOPY to replace the default with your test account on logoff.

thanks, i will try that.
may i have guide to where is the default profile being saved in?
and a link to making a simple script for beginners wld be great..
thanks
