where abouts are u stuck?
u may want to backup any files u want to keep.
as for uninstall, it cant be done, but doesnt need to be done, format rids your hd of everything (including windows)
also, the windows200 setup has an option to format the hd before you install, so you could just format it then

if the hard drive using ntfs format use a program call depart to format.use start-up to get to a prompt and then run delpart and make sure you go to title bar and save settings

Providing you really want to, and have backed up data elsewhere(?), then run W2K setup from a CD boot (or the 4 floppies if no bios fo CD boot); choose option to delete partitions and do so.
Close out and reconfigure drive for next OS - using a '98 boot-disk (Fdisk/Format utils) with CDROM support.
Ideally reconfigure drive with both Primary and Extended partitions; Primary for OS/apps., Extended for data etc. This way you can re-install to (even reformat) the Primary without interfering with data areas...

I have windows ME and I need to format my hardrive. When I create it does not work properly. It is missing or had curroped files which will not allow me to format my hardrive. when I type "a:formatc:" and i am in the mode start with CD-ROM support. I also get error notices when creating a new boot disk as well "file could not be written to drive"
