hi

I have a workgroup with 70 systems. Out of that 4 NT stations and 7 Win2000 advanced servers. Also I have an ISA 2004 installed on win 2000 advanced server. My problem is this. From time to time we are not able to browse the net work and I found that ISA 2004 server is acting as the master browser. I want to stop it as the master browser. Can any one tell me how to do it?

Thanks in advance

Zac.

MB is based on these three things
1. type of server [w2k wins over NT]
2. netbios name [alpha wins over zeta]
3. length of time up [the final tie breaker]

There are registry keys that you can set to false/no [look for isdomainmaster]

It really doesn't matter who is the browser as long as you have a proper configuration so that everyone can read from it. Might want to ask yourself why isa 2004 can't be read as MB

Give a person a fish you feed them for a day.
Ask a person to internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
