How to share Hard drive???

Pls help me with this!!! I cannot share my Hard drive in W2K! I can share the folders but I cannot see the hard drive. the name of the hard drive is now something like C$, D$,......etc. I wanna share my E$. How should I do???

Just try selecting 'New share' and call it what you like. You can then also select what permissions to allow.

The C$, D$ .... all of the local hard drive letters are shared as hidden (thus the $). These are used for administrators only. Like JA said, create a new share for the drive. You can then edit the share level permissions. I don't know that you can change the share level permissions for the c$, d$ and so on.
