how to set 256 or 32 bit colors

HI all
I have a problem in set 256 or higher colors on windows 2000. I had dell 4550 series with windows XP operating system . I did partition and installed windows 2000 professional. My Monitor in Sony Trinitron Flat monitor. what type of driver do i need to install. Thanks in advance KLPR

Look at your xp boot and determine what driver is being used for the video card. Driver is for video card not monitor. Once you know what video card you should be able to download from the web that video driver for w2K and install it.

I checked the driver in my Windows XP is 32MB ATI Rage 128 ultra. Where can i dowload the compatiable driver for windows 2000.

HI Thanks for the website. I download the display driver from that site. I am not able to go to windows 2000, before that i unistalled some driver , when i restart it is coming with blue screen saying Physical memory dumping ..... video driver initialize failed .....
what could be the reason .... Give steps how slove this problem
