Reply: (edit)The whole point of a forum is to let everyone know what the solution(s) are so we all can learn. Ergo, I will not write email, sorry. You can check the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit. If I'm not mistaken there is a utility in there for shutting down the computer. I'm not sure if it reboots or just shuts down though. In my world, we don't reboot servers every day......we leave them run.

Reply: (edit)Run "shutdown/?" in the command window of win2000, you will get the details. You can also try to config "power on at specify time" function if your motherboard can fully support this.

Reply: (edit)The utility mentioned by "H" above won't work with Windows 2000. Both Win2K and NT4 Resource Kits contain the command "shutdown" which can be run from the command prompt. However, if you don't have the Resource Kit you can download a standalone version called "psShutdown". This will allow you to run a batch file from the scheduler telling the machine to reboot. You can find further information here: http://www.jsifaq.com/subi/tip4000/rh4086.htm Hope this helps.
