Name: alpha Date: May 20, 2003 at 09:56:42 Pacific OS: WinNT & Win 2000 CPU/Ram: p3-500/256
Comment:
Original OS in C: is Win NT. D: is Win 2000, it was install later. While turn on the PC, there are two choice -- first is Win 2000, second is Win NT. If I don't select Win NT, pc will be auto. run Win 2000. How do I can put Win NT for first choice, or let pc auto. run Win NT at first without select ?

On the desktop, right-Click on "My Computer" and select: Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Under "system Startup" select NT as your default OS

No need to click all over hell and half of Texas. Make your boot.ini look like this:
[boot loader] timeout=10 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Windows 2000" /fastdetect multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows NT 4.0" multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows NT 4.0 VGA mode" /basevideo /sos \WINNT="Windows NT 4.0" multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows NT 4.0 VGA mode" /basevideo /sos
