How to prevent users from deleting?

Hi, How can I prevent users in my domain from deleting files, folders and sub folders????????? Any one have idea will be usefull...... Thank you... Ali, (note: I'm using windows 2000 server while they using windows 2000 professional)

You can set the security up, so that only you can delete or modify certain folders. Right-click > Properties > Security then add yourself 'Ali' to have 'Full Control' then set 'Everyone' or each individual user(s) to only have 'Read & execute' access. If you do this on whatever folders or files you require to protect.
