If you truely mean LPD (for unix support) then look at two Microsoft articels :

First Install additional Print Services. HOW TO: Set Up Print Services in Windows 2000 Server. Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 301201

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=301201

Then Look at HOW TO: Set Up Network Printing in Mixed Environments in Windows 2000. Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 321839

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q321839

Note that the LPDSvc service does not default to start automaticly, so if you require that you'll have to chnage the start up properties to do so. Good Luck
