how to hide LAN icon completely...

Hi...

I would like to know how to make the LAN icon hidden from if we go to the properties of My Network Places.The thing is recent i have been to one customer for support on windows 2000 platform.
so in windows 2000 server i didn't found the LAN Icon completely.Despite the connection was active.
so anybody here could help me out in these matter.
i need to know is there any registry settings for this to hide.

You can hide or show the icon by going to My Network Places, Properties, Local Area Connection, Properties and then check or uncheck 'Show icon in taskbar when connected'
