I am running ad-ware for pop-up adds, but the pop up keep coming, any suggestions.

I don't know any way to stop all of them, but I have seen a significant dropoff since I installed the "free" Google bar for the internet explorer and enabled Blocking popups. Maurice Woehrle

Stop using Internet Explorer. Switch to a browser like Netscape or Firefox that has built-in pop-up blocking. Only use IE when you have to...like when getting MS updates.
disable windows messenger.
IE SP2 came with a popup blocker that works quite well. If yours isn't updated to SP2 I suggest you do so and that should help stop them.
the popup blocker Curt R is refering to is in SP2 for windows XP not windows 2000
You could also install spybot which finds some malware adaware doensn't. I would check your add/remove programs and uninstall any programs that look out of place (you can search the name in google if your not sure). Some good free scan's you could try - www.trendmicro.com
