Right-click your network or dial-up connection, Properties, Networking, TCP/IP, Properties, Advanced (phew!) and there you are. I've read you don't need it for an internal network, ADSL or cable connection, but I think small is beautiful...........

1) Thanks a lot.
I can get there BUT a) XP-Home works with a network bridge. b) when i am at advanced TCP/IP properties i donot see anything about : IP-HEADER-compression.
so.......problem not solved :)

IPHC only works with PPP connections (dial-up). With a LAN it's not needed.

1) Who said i needed it for a LAN ?
2) I found in the Broadband part of my Network connections and enabled it.
