How Can I enable content advisor in IE 5.00 on restricted users so that they cannot log to spacial sites, while when I enable it in the administrator it work and prevent these sites but other than administrator it will not work at all.......even if I log into each machine as user and try to activate the content advisor.......
So what can I do?????

There are several ways around your problem. The way I would suggest is to use the "Run As..." feature for Win2K and run Internet Explorer and then set your Content Advisor. Try that and lemme know if it worked for you.

To use "Run As...", Shift+right click the executable for IE and you'll see a "Run As..." entry. Then Run As the Administrator.

Just as an afterthought, you could try using Websense, which we use on our networks (35,000 pc's). It restricts content by filtering known IP's and is overrideable by the administrator using a different policy group set up to allow bypassing the upstream proxy connected to the Websense server. All other users are forced by policy to use the main proxy server for internet connection so they must have the ability to change proxy settings and lan settings disabled.

Since you are in education this might be a cost effective solution (think of the politics here - it would be paid for since you are protecting the kids), more info @

www.websense.com

Hope this helps you,

Mark
