Hi All,
Can someone tell me how to copy a dvd to cd, detailing what programs I may need, how much HD space is required, etc.

What kind of DVD are you copying ? if you meant a movie, you can use software to 'compress' and reduce the file size, but in data term, you simply cant do it.

i believe you are referring to making a vcd. you can do it if you convert the file to mpeg and it will take 2 cd's to hold your movie. Haven't fully learned myself how to convert DVD to DiVx otherwise you can burn Divx to CD and its basically DVD on a CD. When you can convert to DiVx total file size can be put on a reg CD-R. Thats why G Lucas thought it'd be cool, not a bad idea, but not the investment i woulda made.
