How to change sound for sound event

The default sound that plays when I click the "Unplug or Eject Hardware/Stop USB Mass Storage Device" icon is the annoying Windows chord, and I'd surely like to change it. I looked for this sound event in Control Panel/Sounds and Multimedia but could not find it there. Does anyone know where the sound event for "Unplug or Eject Hardware/Stop USB Mass Storage Device is located? Perhaps in the list of sound events it is known by another name? Thanks.

There aren't that many sound wavs included with Windows. What you could do is either go to the Multimedia/Sounds option in Control Panel and find the wav that you're talking about..and change it, or play the wavs that do exist and you'll find the one you're talking about. Then, you can locate it in the Sounds list and change it.
Life's more painless for the brainless.

"...and find the wav that you're talking about..and change it.." -- That's my point, Jennifer. I have tried but can't find it because I don't think it's in the visible list. I tried changing the chord sound of two events that I thought might be the suspect one, but the next time I clicked on "Unplug or Eject Hardware/Stop USB Mass Storage Device," I got the annoying chord sound again. I'm beginning to think that some events may have sounds that cannot be changed.

Okay, Jennifer, I concede that you are right and at the same time answer my own question. I located all the existing sound events that were using the Windows "chord" sound and changed each to a different sound. Then I went back and clicked on "Unplug or Eject Hardware/Stop USB Mass Storage Device," and sure 'nough, the sound for this event had changed! Guess which sound event it was. Never mind, I'll save you the bother. It was the "Windows Question" event. Now I ask you, what has the "Windows Question" event got to do with ejecting USB hardware? Anyway, I am grateful for your suggestions.
