I was wondering if there is a way to block a computer from having internet access from the router "setup" menus? I have 2 computers connected to a wireless router (D-Link). And im just wondering if there is somehow i can control the other computers internet access buy somehow using the router "setup" menu? i knoe the computers ip so i just need some help if this is possible, thx =]

Some routers have a menu where you can list the IP addresses of the clients you don't want to have access to the Internet, and it will block any attempts it makes to communicate through the WAN port. Some advanced versions even let you schedule times that those computers may have access. Even though this doesn't require you to statictally set the IP address on the client, instead of having it pull an automatic/DHCP address, it's usually a good idea in case the clients address does change. Look for a "Filtered IP Address" type menu.
