How do you enable DHCP?

I am unable to connect to web pages or chat programs once connected to my ISP. I'm getting an ip address, and dns servers, but cannot type in www.yahoo.com but instead forced to put in the IP address of the site for example. After running an IP CONFIG /ALL, i notice next to "DHCP Enabled" it says "no" In my WIN 98 partition that works fine with the internet, this option is set to "yes". Is this my problem, and if so, how do I enable DHCP? Thanks

Here is where you find the DHCP...(it was enabled for me when I installed 2k, so I can't help with that) Right click network neighbor, and click properties....Open your internet properties for the connection you are using. (R click and hit properties again) Then, highlight Internet Protocol

You might try adding the DNS server address from your IP in TCP/IP configuration in Network Neighborhood properties as well.
If there is no DNS server attached to this protocol, you will not be able to type in Domain Names as addresses.
contact your ISP tech support to find out the address of their DNS.
