is there a way to move the system tray icons without purchasing a program to do it? i don't really have the $30 to fork over for ps tray factory. i figure there has to be a way to do this myself.

Unlock the tool bar, drag and drop the icons where you want them, in whatever order you want. Then lock the toolbar, to keep them where you put them.

I dont think people know what your talking about. Thats why your not getting the answer you want. The system tray is the area of icons located by default on the lower right side beside the clock. The icons located in the system tray are loaded in order, usually defined by your bootup. The systray.exe main executable is located in the \winnt\system32 dir. The configuration for this executable is located at multiple places thoughout the registry. I have no idea how you can organize the startup and move these files since different system applications will load at different times making the system tray almost dynamic.
