okay, so the problem may not seem very complex - I want to record (on Sound Forge / any other audio s/w) what is coming out of my speakers (I'm mixing Mp3 and want to record my mix). Whenever I hit 'record' on soundforge it's recording from my mic - how do i change this so that it records what I'm hearing? I'm all confused. I know it's a very simple solution, but, being a newbie I don't have a clue what I'm doing - someone please help!!

Open up the Windows Mixer from your system tray (yellow speaker). Select Advanced and then Record. Disable microphone and enable line in.
