Wow, that kind of reply really makes this a useful site. Yes, the question was a bit steep for posting on a BB but to suggest go buy a book.....come on now. Basic configurations can be suggested and can even be found within the IIS product without buying a book.

its not hard as u think it is. :)
u have wwwroot folder in your %systemdrive%
that is where default www pages is stored. u can store your web page there, but
all u have to do is to make some web page and define in iis console where is she on your HD, then open port 80 on your router and thats all. i dont know if i was precise but i dont know how much knowlege do u have bout iis. Sorry bout my bad english. :)
ps. dont forget u have to register your server at DNS server of your provider...

Well...look, I configured the ports in both my DSL modem and my router...started IIS, and it worked!! :D
But it just gives me a page that says an "under construction" message in Spanish (which is the language Win2k and IIS are on my PC...)
I put my Index.html in my C:\Inetpub\wwwroot folder, but it still says that!! :(
Do I need 2 configure something else?? or is this the wrong folder??
(The ports work, because I asked a friend 2 test my IP address in his web browser and the same thing appeared...)
Much thanx!! ;)

El-Trucha,

Rename your index.html to default.htm, and place it in the wwwroot folder again, see if that works:)

OK U finish the hard part (configuring router and modem).
The folder is right.
Only u have to do now is to delete all files and folders from your C:\Inetpub\wwwroot folder, and rename your Index.html to Index.htm or default.htm, but thats not enough u must move all of your files and folders of your web page to that location!!! Or other way is, go to "Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Internet Information Services" - Default Web Site (i think that was default name) then right click - Properties - Home Directory TAB, in there u do the most things, like defining where your page is stored, and on Documents TAB name of your start page.
