Comment:
I have windows 2000 on the compaq server, two partition on the hard drive, C: drive is 4GB (Fat)and D: drive is 36GB(NTFS). I am using C: drive only for OS and D: drive for applications. When I install IIS it install on the C: drive, during the installation setup did not give me option to point inetpub folder to the d: drive. I do not want to keep the inetpub folder into the C: drive. Just move inetpub folder from C: drive to D: drive did not work. Anyone have any idea how to point inetpub folder to D: dirve.

You can move the INETPUB folder to d by first moving the physical files, then going into the IIS manager and directing the home folder that is pointing to C:\inetpub to D:\inetpub. You can also just decide to create a different directory called D:\WEBSITE or something and point the default web site and FTP sites to that directory instead of C:\inetpub
