Someone Please Help Me!!!
I formatted my windows 2000 because a ton of viruses destroyed it. When I reinstalled Windows 2000, my computer didn't have 256 colors like it did before I formatted it.
I need to know how to get 256 colors back, I think that I have to download some drivers...Is that right? If so, please just say yes and give me a link to where I can download them from, thank you.
Please give me simple step-by-step answers, as I am not so good with computers, Thank you
P.S. If you need anymore info about my pc, just leave a comment, thanks.
P.P.S. If you have the same problem or question as me, please do not submit a reply saying so, just wait for an answer. If you really want to make a reply like that, then please go make your own forum. Thanks again.

You didn't provide enough information. Make/Model.... So, go http://support.gateway.com/support/... and enter the Service Tag of your machine (should be on a white sticker on the side of the tower.) From there download the graphic drivers.
They should also be on the Gateway CD that came with the computer.

If you re-installed Win2000 using Gateway restore disks the graphics driver should have been installed too.
Did you use Gateway disks? Have you added a graphics card since the computer came from Gateway? If so, that driver must come from the manufacturer of the card or graphics chip.
