How do I format my notebook HD?

CPU/Ram: 700 MHz, 128 MB

Another thing: I was thinking of reinstalling my whole system after the worm attacks, but I cannot seem to get my notebook started on the MS DOS level in order to format my harddisk.
My floppy and CD ROM are both removable, but even when the boot priority in the setup is set to "removable devices", the notebook won't boot from the floppy disk.

So, how DO I format it to reinstall Windows 2000?

Pretty pleeeeeeeeeeze, help!

Either

you need a Windows 2000 cd to install it. (it formats it when its in set up)

Or a Windows 95/98 Boot up disk and boot to dos . u can get at http://www.bootdisk.com/
