I normally set CDROM drives to being 'F:' but how do you change it from, say, E: to F: under Win2K?

This is a pretty easy process in W2k. Right click on "My Computer" and select Manage. Select "Disk Management" from the list of tools. You may get prompted about a signature file the first time you do this, just answer Yes to the prompts. You only get that the first time. In the bottom right of your screen you will see representation of your hard drive(s) and CDROM. Right click on the small square box saying CDROM0 and select "Change Drive Letter and Path". That should get you close. The rest is pretty self-explanitory.
