I have a Compro DVD and do not want InterActual.

Did you just click cancel when it came up? that means its not installed, so you don't need to remove it.

If you DID install it, then you have to go to control panel-->Add/Remove programs and select it from the list.

That’s just it I shouldn’t have to click cancel every time I want to watch a DVD.
How do I stop InterActual from popping up ?

You can't, its on the DVD. The only thing is to switch off autoplay for the DVD drive.

Then you can watch the DVD by opening your player of choice, and selecting the drive that way.

I never got that popup window until something was placed on the harddrive that recognizes it on the dvd and OVERRIDES anything you select in Autoplay, and displays the blue triangle logo for that dvd in that drive. don't know what caused that...it occurred sometime after loading dvd43 which changes your registry, shuts down Norton Int. Sec. 2006 (which is hard and rare).
