Comment: I use a computer in my university's lab. And I'm in the user group. SO, I can't install anything and can't chat in yahoo and msn. Is it possible to chat for me and is ther any such a website where i can chat althouth I am in user group?

Reply: (edit)Member of administrator can chat on msn or yahoo. There it is a trick to do that... Just add your account in the local guest built in group. It will let you chat on MSN and Yahoo. .ed.

Reply: (edit)The only problem with that suggestion is a member of the Users group cannot add or remove users from groups. There's nothing you can do as a member of the Users group and I'm willing to bet that since you're in a university, there's a darn good reason you're not allowed to and bypassing (or attempting to bypass) this security setting will likely get you into a lot of trouble. I worked at a large tech school myself as an admin and several students were dismissed from the school and charge criminally for their actions (ie: trying to bypass network security)....ask yourself this, is chatting online worth having that happen to you?
