I installed hotbar from hotbar.com and can't see how to get rid of it. It doesn't have an uninstall program.It's really not that bad just that my connection is slow anyway and it always has to go to that website first.

If there isn't a uninstaller, I recommend using "RegCleaner"

Try download.com for it, Reg Cleaner helped me with alot of programs which don't have uninstallers.

This program finds the registry files and manually uninstalles the program.

The simplest means of removing Hotbar is to download and install the latest version of Ad-Aware, which can safely remove the product.

Manual Removal Instructions:


1. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel.
2. Click on Add-Remove programs.
3. Highlight Hotbar and choose Remove.
4. Go to Start, Run and type REGEDIT. Click OK.
5. Delete the following registry keys:

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Hotbar
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hotbar
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\B195B3B3-8A05-11D3-97A4-0004ACA6948E
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform\Hotbar 3.0
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent
