I am trying to make the hostname appear on the desktop of a computer. I want it to be dynamic so when the hostname changes, it will auto update on the desktops. I know I have seen this before, anyone have any ideas?

Hey dr_gle!

No I do not mean the doamin contoler. I mean the computers "hostname." If you go to a command prompt and type "hostname" it will return a value known as the hostname or sometimes refered to as the netbios name.

Thanks,
Ed
