I am in a win2k domain and have a HOME FOLDER on the server. IF i have laptop I have the option to make my files OFFLINE but on a Desktop i can not. Is there anyway I can trick the Desktop to think its a laptop. One way I can work around is to highligh the HOmeFOLDER network drive and add favorites and then make available OFFLINE, but there is got to be another way. I mean a Laptop can just rightclick and say "make avaible offline. thank you for the help guys
I believe you can use the Synchronize feature using Windows Explorer>>Tools>>Synchronize. Add the folder you need, but I also believe the folder has to be shared before it'll allow you to use it Offline.
