Hiding Bootmagic Partition?

I had to recently reinstall my default/primary OS and since then I can't hide the Bootmagic partition. I was wondering if you are supposed to be able to hide the partition with BM on so it is not visible in 'My Computer', as I'm sure i was before?(I am able to hide it when I am in my secondary boot).
