This is an area that is new to me because I know nothing about visual basic. Many excel users here use an add-in that allows them to log in to an account to retrieve accounting information off a mainframe. For one user in particular, the add-in causes her Excel to respond very slow. When I go through the procedure to set up the add-in and browse to the .xla file where it is located, I get an error that says "Error in loading dll". Within the title bar there are words pertaining to Visual Basic.
If I go to the list of add-ins and uncheck the box next to the problematic one, Excel responds normally. We're going to try to contact the person that created the add-in file but in the meantime is there anything I can try? I'm clueless as to why this only happens on her system and no one else.
