Help! Win 2000 won't accept psswd!

Hi- I'm having an issue with unlocking my Dell notebook. I'm running win 2000 on it. Here's the problem, when I changed account info to a guest account with pssword, the system wouldn't recog the new info. It says, "this account has been deleted by the administrator" So now my computer is totally locked. Any birght ideas? Any help would be much appreciated. And this is a refurbished notebook, btw, and the dealer is unreachable.
