HELP!! Scandisk!!!!

I have a dual boot between winxp pro and windows 2000 when ever i start up win2k there is this scan disk dialoge and once it gets to C:\documents and settings\my profile\Recent\ it finds a bunch of garbled up files with funny charecters I tried deleting tthem but it said it cant read from the source of the disk and scan disk never completes when it gets here, the files are about 1.8 Gigabytes! So either somebody please tell me how to delete these files or how to disable scandisk in windows 2000 bootup! Thanks

Suggestion - try renaming the files and moving them to a new folder in the root directory (eg C:\). Then boot up in XP and delete them from there. If you can move them and they won't delet in Windows, delete them with DOS from a boot floppy.
A thought - did you install both operating systems on the same partition? If so, one may be corrupting the other.

Just go to their site and download the software or better still..... call them and ask them to send you a CD, they should do it if asked...
