First I want to say thanks to those who have help me in the past. I performed a clean install and all is peachy. One small quirk remains. My system will not turn itself off when I shut down. It worked fine under Win 98, but not 2K. Any ideas? Thanking you in advance, Kevin

The most common cause of this is that APM is not enabled. On the APM tab of the Power Options applet (found in Control Panel) you have to check the box beside "enable APM"
