Now that spoolsv.exe doesn't cause an error, when I attempt to add a printer, no port is listed (like LPT1). The port is working fine, I have a ZIP and Scanner attached and they work perfect. All three used to work together until I had my original printing problem. Everything works 100% on Windows 98. Can some one please lead me in the right direction on this one? I hate having to switch to Win98 everytime I want to print, it is real annoying.

Just for reference, no, my printer does not have W2K drivers out yet, I had to use the NT ones, but they did work before I had a paper jam error. That started everything off.

I am having problems with my printer. I have tried and tried to get it printer. But, I have failed with getting it to work. Yes, the printer came with the software that I needed. Due to some problems with the computer, I swamp it out for another one. I mistakely placed the printer software with the other software. When I realized what I had done, I went back to SAM'S WAREHOUSE to get my software for that particular printer. But, I found out that they don't sell DeskJet 610 CL printers anymore. I was so outdone because the time that I had the software I could not figure it out. I need help with printing. Will you help me?
