Comment: i have 2 computers ,one is win98,and other is win2000pro.i put my pics in to win98,and i come to win2000 to access to the files at win98,but i say: cant access to win98.help me to access win98 from win2OOO( i log on win2000 wit administrator ad password on it)

Reply: (edit)File and printer sharing on the Win98 box should be installed. It is not installed by default. Also, makes sure that File and printer sharing is enabled on the Win2K box. Next make sure that the Win2K account has the same win98 account (same username and password). Finally, access the share by going through the start/run menu and type \\ipaddress to see the shares, going through network neighborhood does not guarantee that you will see the other computer's shares.

Reply: (edit)Does someone can tell me what is the limit of the number of files that one directory can contain in Windows2000 in NTFS ? I recently had a problem related to too much files in one directory, without taking in consideration the other sub-directories.
