Comment: my pc keeps freezing on me & in the closed programs box it says msgsrv32 not responding & i have 2 reboot my system 2 get it back on again....this happens every few hour or so...plz can anyone help me out here

Reply: (edit)Try to put in the win2k cd and reinstall your files, i don't recomend on formating your computer but try to repair your files with the cd and if that doesn't work try a virus scan make sure you don't got anything thing. but if you can't figure it out format your hard drive. it must be a big inconvenionce for you to reboot your computer ever few hours.

Reply: (edit)Have you tried to go to Microsoft's Web site and " UPDATE WINDOWS " it could be that you are running on older version (SP) of windows. There are updates and patches for All Windows versions here. If you still have problems with Windows after update, then I would suspect either a hardware or software conflict. Check your ACPI in the bios, this can also cause problems. Also of note, you might want to update your bios chipset.
