My harddiskdrive will not work with windows 2000, in 98:a it worked just fine.
It`s a Seagate!

You might have to go into administrative tools-->storage and create a new volume and format the thing. I got 2 9GB barracudas the other day and had to do this.

What I want to know is, if your hard drive doesn't work in win2000, then how did you install win2000 on it?
And Carnivore: if his win2000 isn't working, then how is he going to go into administrative tools?
Sorry, I don't actually have any help, I'm just really confused about the situation.
