Comment: When i rebooted the cpu my 13 Gb hard drive says its not formated. This has happen twice in one week. I dont know what to do. Its very important that i get the files back. Is there a solution or must i format it again !!!

Reply: (edit)You can run some disck check utilities on it(right-click on the drive icon, select Properties, then click the Tools tab), but you didn't say weather you could get it back up and running... Sounds like the drive itself is going bad and shouldn't be used anymore....

Reply: (edit)Hey Lucid! Thanks for your respons. It was up and running after the first time it happened. But i formated it first. Then it ran for almost a week and it happened again. I have tried the properties by right clicking but i get the same message."Hard drive is not formated" The drive is just over three years old.
