Hi, I used Eudora 3.05, and tried to closed it when it was compacting mailbox. Then, when I launch Eudora, the window popped up, telling me that the hard drive is disconnected. However, I could still open it with Windows Explorer. Then I tried to copy Eudora folder to another partition of that hard drive (with the purpose to reinstall Eudora, and replace important Eudora files from old version). Then I could not open the directory where I copied Eudora, it would ask me to reformat that partition. However, I could open other directories on that partition. After running windows error repair/bad sectors repair tools, the whole partition is unreadable. When I click on the drive, windows prompt me to format the drive, and when I did in Command Prompt, it tells me "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)". However, I can still access second partition on the same hard drive. When I tried to zip Eudora, it could not do it. Could you help me please, or give me an advice how I can restore access? Thank you.
