Comment:

PC will hang for several minutes with the message "Preparing Network Connections". I am not using PC for a server and not on a Domain. I have installed all Windows updates including SP4. It used to boot up fast and "Preparing Network Connections" used to be on for only a second or so, but something changed. I think it was when I installed the Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 video card. But so far all the info I have found does not correct the problem. Previously I was using the Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT video card with no problem. I'm not sure how a video card could cause a problem with network connections, but I need some answers if there is one out there.
