Group Policies don't apply: clients

Group policies apply fine to all users logging into the SERVER box, but to NO users logging into client boxes!! I have domain level group policies set.
I've seen similar very 'old' threads here, but I haven't seen ANY follow-ups to what the problem was! I'm sure it's something simple... thanks to anyone who can follow up w/ the solution!
This one's been kicking me in the butt for days! :-(

Do Authenticated Users have READ security setting on the Policy? Thats the most obvious. If they do print this baby out and have a head through - lots of good stuff to check

Thanks. I've read that puppy, & it's helpful.
This problem turned out to be all DNS! The clients must ALL have the W2K PDC's IP as one of it's DNS search svrs! That's the only way the clients can 'see' the policies on the PDC!
All I had to do was change my DHCP server's DNS list, to include the internal IP of my PDC.
