Hi,
I have windows 2000 Server on which Active directory is configured. I have also a Group policy, which deny users access to control panel, Run, search in start menu D: drives, chaning date time etc......

But recently when i tried to add a new user, the user is getting the access to control panel, Run, search in start menu ,D: drives, chaning date time etc......

Later i found that some users profiles are getting all the things, and some user profiles are not affected and are working as before.

I have again created a GPO with the same setting, but still the same result.

Please advice me how to resolve this issue.

Thanks
Sam

Is this a user issue, or is it unique to certain machines? What I mean is, do different users on the same machine have different access?

You may want to try checking the 'do not allow overide' box incase there is a permission conflict.
