Since a week, i have to uninstall TCP/IP protocol and then reinstall it to gain access to the LAN, everytime the W2k Adv. Server i use is restarted. The NIC works fine. When server tries to log to the domain, it receives IP address from DHCP Server, but i cannot contact any other pc (nor ping or tracert or anything at all works!). Only after reinstalling TCP/IP i can contact other resources on the net. Anyone could help me? Thanks in advance Luca Possenti

Make sure you are pointing towards the correct DNS servers.
Might also give that server a static IP address and see if that helps.
Maybe try pinging the other computers by IP address as well as by computer name and see if it can do both. My money is on not having the right DNS servers setup in the configuration or else your DHCP server not giving you the right ones (if it's set for automatic DNS).......
