Got Static IP, how to make DNS

Hi, I just got static ip from telus.net and have dsl connection. I like to host my own website on my server running w2k server. My domain name registered with networksolutions.com and they require name server and dns primary and secondary in order to point my domain name to my server. I tried with my server name and the static ip, didn't work, tried with servername and the 2 dns numbers provided by telus, didn't work. Networksolutions.com response, not the right entry. How to fix this problem, What do I have to do, I have static ip, and how can I point to my domain name just with static ip, do I need to make DNS server or add DNS numbers. From where those DNS numbers will come from?
need help.... please step by step if possible mubeen

I'd suggest contacting your DSL provider (maybe on the phone while you do it) and saying that you need step by step directions and see if they provide them. That way, whatever numbers you need that are provided by them will be in the correct placements.....
Summary: I upgrad my computer for windows98 to windows2000. But the screen become blank. I think it may because I need boot disk. I have windows 2000 CD, can someone tell me how to make boot disk? Thanks. ...
