Whenever I go to a folder on my c drive, it freezes up for a while, then it`s fine.
I think it`s a virus, but i`m not sure.

Is this something new? 64MB is lean for Win2000. How much room is on the drive?

I declare, I must have made a million mistakes today!

I don`t know the RAM, but the drive has a lot of free space on it.

RAM doesn't have space, occupied or free. You are thinking of disk space. Disk space is measured in GBs. Download and run a program called Everest home. This free utility can tell you things like how much RAM (memory) your computer has. Find Everest here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4...
