Counterspy gave me a false positive and said that FreeImageX.dll was spyware. I deleted it with the register keys. (Big Mistake!) When I log into my account on Win2000, I now get "unexpected error; quitting" message that doesn't do anything and the winnt\system32 folder displays.

Counterspy tech support was of no help. FreeImageX.dll could not be found on any of the distribution CD's related to imaging software I had previously installed nor on the Win2000 CD. I downloaded freeimage.zip from the web which contained freeImage.dll but not freeImageX.dll.

A search for freeImageX.dll on this and the microsoft website was unsuccessful.

I am at the end of my rope. Here is part of the CounterSpy log:

Please help! Thank you!!!
