Whenever I boot up my machine, i get 2 Found new PCI device messages. I never got them until after I removed a winmodem and i installed a usrobotics external modem. The winmodem was physically removed as well as the driver, so i have no idea why its finding 2 new PCI devices.... any guesses as to what I should do?

If you installed a new modem, it will probably give either a PCI simple communications device or PCI serial device found message. These point to the new modem. Reinstall the drivers for the PCI device and point to the modem drivers when propmpted for drivers.

You may want to look in your device manager and see if you have multiple entries of some of your devices, if you do remove all duplicates, including the dupe that doesn't have an exclamation mark and reboot.
