I tried to upgrade an existing Win ME to Win 2k. When I made the upgrade I chose for the installer to change my drive to NTFS. Surprise, surprise now none of my programs that were previously installed will work. On top of that I now cannot uninstall any of my old programs. (I don't know what I was thinking I should've thought about this happening, maybe I was really drunk)

So now I've decided to just say "screw it" and format the whole blasted hard drive and start from scratch. However I have no idea how to format an NTFS drive, which is made more difficult by the fact that it's obviously my boot drive.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

You could use a Windows 98 boot disk and then go into FDISK and remove all non-DOS partitions. Then reboot and Format the same way.
